Each ceramic ‘Message on a Bottle’ is hand cast in stoneware slip and fired twice before Siobhain adds the message, ‘Walk on air against your better judgement’ – Seamus Heaney. The elegant form and shape of the bottle is heavily influenced by the Irish milk bottle – once so common in rural Ireland.
