Much of my inspiration comes from the world around me—the soft greens of the Irish landscape, the gentle patterns of leaves and wildflowers in my garden and the hedgerows, and the quiet beauty of the Blackwater Valley countryside I see every day here in Cork. I also find great inspiration in the words of Irish poets and writers, who have a way of capturing a simple wisdom of love, friendship, and the unspoken ties between people.
